Lights, Camera, Save! Video Contest
Golden Belt Bank is participating in the American Bankers Association Foundation: Lights, Camera, Save! video contest. We’re looking for creative, innovative concepts that show the importance of sound money management—let your imagination run free! Winning videos will be posted on YouTube and become part of a national campaign to make sound money management relevant to teens.
What is Lights, Camera, Save?
Lights, Camera, Save! is a national video contest that encourages teens (13-18 years old) to learn and educate others on the importance of money management and saving money. Participants create and submit their videos to Golden Belt Bank. Each video must be original and be no longer than 90 seconds. The contest is launched October 1st, 2023 and ends December 1st, 2023. The purpose of this contest is to encourage students to show the value of sound money management in a way that will appeal to other teens.
How to Enter
To enter the contest, students should download the Contestant Submission Packet, create an original video and upload it to YouTube, then submit the Contestant Entry Form in person or by email to [email protected].
When creating your video, make sure to NOT use any copyrighted material – this includes music, movies, and books. Also, do not include any clothing labels, store logos, sports teams, or any other company brands. Send your videos in early so we can make sure qualifications are met and if not, we can return the video for editing before the deadline.
Students should upload their videos to YouTube. When uploading, students have the option to upload their video as Public, Private, or Unlisted. They should choose the option Unlisted. This means that their video will not show up on their channel or on the search page. Only people with the URL link will be able to view the video. This will eliminate any chances of other participants stealing your material and seeing your video before the contest ends. There is a blank space for video URL on the Contestant Entry Form. Videos and Contestant Entry Forms should be submitted by December 1st, 2023.

Why Participate?
In addition to learning money conscious skills students will take with them throughout life, there are national cash prizes offered for the top three videos. Nationally students will have the opportunity to win $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second, and $1,000 for third place.
